How do I install Flock on Linux?
After downloading the tar file:
>> sudo tar -C /opt -xzvf flock-0.7.10.2.en-US.linux-i686.tar.gz>> sudo ln -s /opt/flock/flock /usr/bin/flock
>> killall gnome-panel
You may also have to run these commands:
>> chmod 0440 sudoers
>> chown -Rv userName /opt
>> sudo ln -s /opt/flock/flock /usr/bin/flock
You can also directly run the executable in /opt/flock/.
>> cd /opt/flock
>> ./flockMy Fedora Core 5 Flock is running in these way.
