Web Browser Speed Comparison

Oct 8th, 2008
I was looking for web browser that takes least memory. My PC is old so I was looking for least expensive web browser in term of memory usage and CPU usage for my PC. I cannot use Google chrome as I am using Win 2000 on my home PC.

I found that Firefox 3+ is good for me. I am already using it. Another Web Browser can be Opera for me. Opera was really a good browser. I was not using it because of compatibilities issues on websites. I will give it a new try. Two Web Browsers are required for me as I many times use two mail accounts of same provider. At many places Flock was not mentioned so I cannot make final decision about the Flock. I saw IE is worst in many cases if you use 5-10 tabs at a time.

Try Google Chrome. It’s free, doesn’t use much memory and is very easy to use. It just might take a day or two to get used to it, but it’s well worth it.

What a shame! there are so many Win 2000, users around nowadays seeing as to how WINDOWS XP was JUST released! i can clearly see how compatability issues will be a problem for all the users just migrating to the very new Windows XP….
