GIMP is a One of the best image Editor available. It is released under GNU license. So, you can use it free of cost. GIMP is an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc.

For person like me, who do not like working with image, program like paint brush can be enough. But simple software like paint brush cannot do much for your image. For advanced work, you need advanced image manipulation application like photoshop. But Photoshop is not free. It is also very heavy for old machine.

GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) is free and can be used on old PC. It is free to use and almost as advanced as Photoshop.

Making image's corner round can be a tough task, if you need to do it yourself following steps. GIMP has made doing round corners very simple. It requires only one command for this.

Go to Menu, Select -> Rounded Rectangle..
A pop-up will comes up. It will give you a slider to adjust to. This is for Radius of the round (circle). Default is 50. I used this and you see the effect. You may feel cool using radius = 20.
