Installed Web Browser Chrome on Linux (Ubuntu)

Today I have tried Google Chrome web browser on Ubuntu Linux system. I feel no big problem. I have not fixed the flash and other things, so, I have not tested these things.

I have access Google Analytics, Blogger, gmail, wordpress and all worked without error. Gmail show contact cannot be imported and also gmail struck at one place. But that can be due to gmail also.

I have checked the CPU and memory usages of Chrome Web Browser and I have found those satisfactory. Page loading speed is also very good.

If you also like to try it on your Linux system, here are the links for 32 bit and 64 bit PC.

Dev channel (for 32-bit systems): google-chrome-unstable_current_i386.deb

Dev channel (for 64-bit systems): google-chrome-unstable_current_amd64.deb

Problem noticed in a site was Facebook. It was not working correctly. So, problems are there as you can expect in developer version. But I am satisfied that it is not crashing or slowing down the system.

Installation was not a problem. Deb file format directly opens in Package Manager and start installation after checking credentials.

You can read more about the Developer's release story of Chrome at Google page.
