You can use brizzly with chrome also, just type brizzly.com

I havent tried brizzly extenison, but i am using chrome internet browser, i would try brizzly defenitely after reading your article, i need something faster when using facebook and as you said it is good for you tube, thank you.

Gear will not help. Google has stopped gear development as HTML5 has those feature.
also I tried Gear in my linux system with FF 3.1 and 3.5 which never worked.
