Web Summit at GIDS (Great Indian Developer Summit), 2010

I was at GIDS Web Summit, 2010 today (April, 20, 2010). It was a good experience to be there. Few speakers could not make into to the summit due to volcanic eruption otherwise it could be very good. I could not attend two of the planned speaker due to this. One was Effective Design Processes and Resources for Mobile Web Development (Arabella David) and another was NoSQL: The Shift to a Non-relational World (Nosh Petigara).

Summit called for good speakers to give us best in the industry. I liked most of the session except one or two. Due to session planned in parallel, no one attend all the sessions but whichever I have attended that was worth. Few speakers whom I do not like much was those who came for thier product advertisement more than whatever topic they have chosen. One boring session was probablly this: Stimulating New Generation of Mobile Applications (Srikanth Raju). He mostly discussed about what and Nokia is available.

Here are few images I have taken. These images are taken I was waiting for speakers. This time attendance was very good. Seats in even main Hall (biggest one) was almost 100% occupied to listen good speakers/Topic. I have uploaded few videos as well. I captured J.N. Tata Auditorium, Bangalore garden when it started raining.
