How to Clear Browser Cache ?

Here is an article for - How to clear your browser cache? It is not a question for most of you but I am writing it for all those who are reaching at How to Delete Cached File on Client Side ? when they just want to delete his own browser cache. The said article is for Webmaster/developer point of view where Webmaster want to handle cache for his own web site.

Now, the way to delete your own browser cache, if you are getting crappy web pages due to old cached file in your web browser or for some other reason.

How to Clear Web Browser Cache in Firefox?

Short cut way to do is press CTRL + Shift + Del key. A pop up Window will appear like this:

Select the time range from the drop down(everything, today,…) and the cached resources (History, Cookie, Cache file) you want to delete from the bottom list in checkboxes.

Or,

You can Go there from the using menu item. Tool -> Options -> Privacy. Click on the links and you will get the same window as above.

How to Clear Web Browser Cache in Internet Explorer?

Use from Menu, Tools -> Internet Options -> General Tab. and here you get Browsing History section. Click on Delete button.

How to Clear Web Browser Cache in Chrome ?

Click on the wrench icon -> Options and then use the tab - Under the Hood. Click on the button Clear Browser data. Another pop up will appear which looks similar to Firefox. Select whatever you want to delete from the check list (browsing history, Download history, Cache,…).

    I think you may knowing it! but still I am telling.
    It is about the preference of cookie for individual sites. See the image for site preference. Follow this path: Firefox -> options -> privacy tab
